Create a VR marketing website for Zimbabwean heritage sites that utilises a configuration of the Wonderland project for building and integrating VR experiences.

Objectives:

1. Design a user-friendly and visually appealing marketing website using Framer.

2. Configure and integrate VR spaces built with Wonderland seamlessly into the website.

3. Deploy the VR experiences using Netlify for a smooth online experience.

Tools Used:

1. Framer: A web design and prototyping tool

2. Wonderland: A development framework for building VR experiences (done by the client)

3. Netlify: A platform for hosting and deploying web applications

What I Did

Using Figma, I designed a visually captivating marketing website for VR Zim. The website aimed to educate visitors about the heritage sites of Zimbabwe. I configured and integrated VR experiences built with Wonderland into the marketing website. This ensured a seamless transition for users from the website's information to the immersive VR experiences.

Leveraging Netlify's functionalities I deployed both the VR experiences (built with Wonderland) and the marketing website (deployed with Framer) online. This ensured smooth accessibility for visitors on vrzim.com.

What I Took From This Project

This project solidified my understanding of VR's ability to create highly engaging and interactive marketing experiences. I gained valuable knowledge on configuring and integrating VR experiences built with Wonderland into websites designed with Framer.

Overall, developing the vrzim.com website was a rewarding experience that broadened my skills in VR integration and innovative marketing website design.
